Oatmeal soap

My oatmeal soap is made with saponified oils of rice bran, olive, coconut and ground oatmeal. There is ground oatmeal sprinkled on the top as well. It is perfect for exfoliation and would make a wonderful soap to use in the shower.

Coffee Soap

Here is the coffee soap. It has coffee grounds in it and is made with coconut, pomace olive and rice bran oil combined with lye and water. This soap smells like coffee and would be great to get rid of onion and garlic odors on your hands in the kitchen. It could also be used to exfoliate your skin in the shower. It has cured for at least four weeks when you receive it and it sells for $1.59/oz. Please let me know if you would like to try a sample.

Cured soaps that are ready for you...

There are a variety of soaps now that are cured and ready to go. Currently I have: lavender with lavender buds, coffee with coffee grounds (a perfect kitchen soap to get rid of onion and garlic odors or to exfoliate with), pure (no scent and very mild), and oatmeal (great to exfolitate with) available. All of my soaps are made with the cold process method. These are all made with saponified oils of rice bran, olive and coconut. Any scent is added through spices or essential oils. You can feel good about using this soap...it is natural, supports a local business and can take the place of chemicals that you would be using for bathing/dish washing/laundry/cleaning, etc. The pure soap is excellent to wash dishes with, wash your hair with, clean the counters with, scrub the floors with and to make laundry soap with.

Beeswax Candles

So, I am a candle lover, but I am trying to live a more natural lifestyle. My Yankee candles made of paraffin wax (and who knows what kind of chemical-laden scents) were giving me headaches when I burned them. Have you ever walked out of a Yankee Candle store and had all of those scents in your nose for an hour afterwards (not to mention still on your clothes when you get in the car, it isn't just me, is it?)?. Well, I thought, I know I can make candles myself...but I want to make them from something local. So, I bought some beeswax from my local honey man and away I went. So, now I am offering pure beeswax candles with cotton wicks (no lead in them). The yellow one in the picture is made from local beeswax. The other two are made from pure beeswax, but colors have been added. The votives need to be burned in a votive holder that is near their size. Beeswax burns clean and much longer than any other wax. Each votive is $2.
